What's Included
Complete Network Infrastructure Done Right
We design, wire, and configure your entire network — from the ISP handoff to every ethernet port in your home or office. Clean, labeled, and documented.
Network Design
We design your complete network topology — switch placement, port counts, VLAN structure, and cable routing plan — before pulling a single cable.
Cat6 / Cat6A Wiring
Professional structured wiring with proper cable management, appropriate bend radii, and certification testing on every run.
Patch Panel & Switch
Rack-mounted patch panels, labeled and documented. Managed switches configured with VLANs, PoE for cameras and access points, and QoS settings.
Wall Plates & Keystones
Professional wall plate installation in every room. Labeled, flush-mounted, and matched to your existing decor where possible.
We provide a complete network diagram and cable map so you or any future technician knows exactly what's where.
Who Needs Structured Wiring?
Wired ethernet is always faster and more reliable than WiFi — perfect for anyone who needs consistent, high-performance connectivity:
Home offices with video calls, VPNs, and large file transfers
Businesses with 5–100+ employees needing reliable shared infrastructure
New construction and home renovations — best time to run cable
Gaming setups, home theaters, and streaming rooms needing low latency
Security camera systems requiring PoE power over ethernet
Smart home installations with multiple hardwired devices
WiFi drops and interference causing slow speeds in your home office
↓
Wired ethernet delivers full internet speed with zero wireless interference — your video calls never drop again
Your ISP-provided router handling everything with no real control
↓
A proper managed network with VLANs separates IoT, guest, and work traffic — faster, safer, and more reliable
How It Works
From Design to Done — Professional Build
Residential wiring projects typically take 1–2 days. Commercial installs vary by scope — we give you an accurate timeline upfront.
Step 01
Network Design
We design your complete network — cable routes, switch locations, patch panel layout, VLAN structure — and walk you through the plan before any work begins.
Step 02
Cable Installation
Cat6 cables pulled through walls, attic, or conduit. Properly supported, labeled at both ends, and run with minimal bends to maintain performance.
Step 03
Termination & Testing
Every cable terminated on patch panels and wall plates, then tested with a cable tester to verify continuity, wiremap, and performance spec.
Step 04
Configuration & Handoff
Switches, router, and access points configured. VLANs, firewall, and remote management set up. Full documentation provided at job completion.
Free on-site assessment included. We visit, evaluate, and give you a fixed quote — no surprises, no obligation.
FAQ
Network Setup & Structured Wiring — Common Questions
Cat6 vs Cat6A — which should I use?
Cat6 supports gigabit speeds up to 100 meters and is sufficient for most homes and small offices. Cat6A supports 10 gigabit speeds and is better for longer runs or future-proofing. We typically recommend Cat6 for residential and Cat6A for new commercial installations where 10G switching may be added later.
How disruptive is the cable installation process?
We try to minimize disruption by running cables through attics, inside walls via existing pathways, or along baseboards where wall access isn't possible. In most homes we can complete a full wiring job with minimal drywall work. We discuss the approach before starting and patch any holes we make.
What is a VLAN and do I need one?
A VLAN (Virtual LAN) is a way to separate network traffic into isolated groups — for example, keeping your IoT smart home devices on a separate network from your computers. This improves security and performance. We recommend VLANs for any network with more than 10 devices or where you have security cameras, smart TVs, or guest access.
Can you work with my existing ISP router and equipment?
Yes. We can integrate new structured wiring and managed switches into your existing setup, or replace your ISP router entirely with a proper managed solution. We assess your current setup and recommend the best path forward — we never rip out working equipment unnecessarily.
How long does a home network wiring job take?
A typical 3–4 bedroom home with 8–12 ethernet drops takes 1–2 days. Larger homes or jobs requiring significant wall fishing may take longer. Commercial projects are scoped individually. We give you an accurate timeline after the site assessment.
Do you provide network documentation?
Yes. Every job includes a network diagram showing the cable routes, port assignments, VLAN configuration, and IP addressing scheme. This documentation is invaluable for troubleshooting and for future technicians working on your network.
